Position Description

The Manager for Innovent Clinical Support Services will have daily oversight / responsibility of the Innovent Clinical Support team which includes but is not limited to call center RNs, the New Patient Advisor team and the Clinical Data abstraction / QOPI team. Ensures that all members of the Call Center team are focused on providing the highest standard of nursing care and patient navigation to meet all contractual requirements for each customer. Promotes development and implementation of best clinical practices and customer solutions throughout the team. Works as an effective team player with leadership, Director of Operations and the broader team to identify enhancements and barriers to program success and coordinate to resolve identified improvements. Supports and adheres to the McKesson Compliance program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.

This position can be based anywhere in the United States, working remotely. The ideal candidate will be based in Texas.

Key Responsibilities

• Provides daily oversight for all Innovent Clinical Support Services programs to ensure all program objectives are met and having a full understanding of each specific program contractual requirements.

• Develops and implements Quality Assurance tools to measure and monitor Innovent Clinical Support Services teams' performance to measure productivity and quality standards..

• Conducting Quality Assurance reviews of all Innovent Clinical Support Services team's outcomes on weekly and monthly basis.

• Reviews program outcomes and analyzes data to determine effectiveness of program and identifies areas of improvement and opportunities to increase effectiveness.

• Engages team leadership, as appropriate, to re-direct program requirements if problems are identified.

• Partners with practice leadership and staff directly on the overall process, engagement, education and feedback on the team

• Strategizes and collaborates with department Director and VP to develop, implement and manage new programs and services.

• Creating and providing presentations to practice staff and leadership to introduce concepts for new programs and to provide monthly outcomes reports.

• Executes the implementation of new and current programs with minimal supervision and always with an eye to quality improvement and innovation.

• Hiring and providing initial / ongoing training of staff for all Innovent Clinical Support Services teams.

• Conduct monthly check in meetings with all direct reports and assist with development of Individual Development Plans.

• Management of both exempt and non-exempt staff and approvals of timecards.

• Maintains the confidentiality of medical information when providing required services for each customer while following all HIPAA guidelines.

• Assists staff as needed with program tasks when staff are on PTO, during implementations and additional activity is needed to meet program requirements.

Minimum Qualifications

• 6+ years professional experience with minimum of 1-2 years of supervisory experience

Critical Skills

• 5 years nursing experience and customer service

• 2+ years managerial experience with direct reports

• 2-3 years experience in an oncology practice in the capacity of direct patient care

• Telephonic triage experience

• Chemotherapy infusion experience

• Patient education experience

• Oncology Nursing Certification (OCN) a plus

Education

• 4-year Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree (BSN) from accredited nursing school)

• Current active RN License in state of Texas
