Role Description As an Analytics (QBR) Product Manager, your primary responsibility is to help create and deliver best-in-class analytics and reporting solutions that facilitate great analytical experiences for McKesson's customers and internal sales teams. You will closely collaborate with sales, product owners and other business and IT stakeholders to gather requirements, write use cases, organize features, establish roadmap, and track usage for McKesson's Reporting & Analytics products. - Works with Stakeholders on requests, analysis and prioritization of requests
- Assist with development of product roadmap by defining our target audiences, personas, success metrics, and strategic priorities
- Executes the roadmap by working with Agile / Scrum teams to capture and translate requirements, develop user stories, conduct User Acceptance Testing, and work with beta customers to implement product and gather feedback.
- Assist with the strategy for how Sales-facing solutions merge, integrate, etc. with customer facing solutions.
- Defines user experience (user goals and needs and workflow) to enable actionable discussion with customers and sales leaders. Oversee the development of prototypes, mockups, and wireframes, and then validate with stakeholders.
- Analyzes data sets and potential data sets to get a deep understanding of data and their relevance to user reporting needs; identifies what data sets are needed and requests from Central Data Hub.
- Coordinates with fellow Product Managers, Product Owners and business stakeholders to ensure requirements and acceptance criteria are captured.
- Gathers insights from usage data and user research and observation activities to implement changes in products.
- Owns definition and documentation of BI-layer calculations, dimensional attributes, business rules and aggregation logic. Works with McKesson IT to ensure these definitions are implemented in BI and data systems ensuring consistency in calculations across the business.
- Conduct product demos across various stakeholders including training for sales and customer support
- Assess competitors' offerings and identify gaps and market opportunities
- Assist with customer/user-facing communications such as messaging, content, release notes and support communications (including user guides)
- Assist with troubleshooting issues with Support Team and Product Owner
Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in software or similar discipline
- 3-4 years Product Management experience dealing with Reporting tools or business intelligence solutions
- Experience and understanding of modern business intelligence tools, their limitations and how this translates into database requirements
- Experience with JIRA to manage product roadmap and backlog
- Experience working directly with technology teams and business stakeholders as a product manager
- Experience in stakeholder management
- Experience with SAFe, Lean, and Agile software development
- Experience with data needs at all levels of a modern analytics workflow (querying, blending, exploring, visualizing, storytelling)
