Compensation Consultant

PURPOSE OF ROLE:

Support, build and enhance McKesson's Reward and Recognition programs across the organization. Responsible for the development, implementation, coordination and maintenance of various employee recognition programs. Act as a liaison to McKesson's R&R platform to partner with the implementation of Reward and recognition programs.

Develop and lead communications, training materials/curriculum development, and change management to support the compensation programs and practices. This includes enhancing our existing communication channels and discovering new digital innovations that enable us to make real-time updates, provide topical messages, and link our employees to the information they need and want to know.

RESPONSIBILITY STATEMENTS

Rewards & Recognition

• Manage enterprise recognition and reward program and platform, partner with all business functions, leadership and operations team, in support of programs, campaigns, contests.
• Act as the front-line contact for all recognition-related inquiries and promptly respond to recognition issues and questions.
• Provide administrative support to the platform and managed services vendor, including; billing oversight and reconciliation accounting chargebacks, and general communications regarding contract and SLA's
• Partner with the Augeo team and internal stakeholders to accept requests and develop recognition programs.
• Assist in the development and management of the yearly R&R budget.
• Promote the Culture of Recognition at McKesson by developing and administering programs to help leaders acknowledge achievements and milestones for employees and departments.
• Plan and implement annual communication plan to optimize awareness and engagement in recognition programs and services.
• Partner with Augeo to create promotions to increase program visibility, drive participation and increased awareness.
• Partner with Internal Communications and Augeo to develop effective and creative marketing approaches and sustainment campaigns, leveraging McKesson's channels, displays, broadcast messages, Town Hall Meetings, etc.
• Champion best practices and maintain integrity of recognition programs and processes by ensuring compliance with guidelines and standard procedures.
• Develop in partnership with Augeo measurable data and analysis and reporting for recognition programs to enable recommendations for improvements and new offerings.
• Stay abreast of the "best practices" for employee engagement and recognition

Communication & Training

• Develops communications content that drives engagement with our McKesson employees around the Compensation programs and practices
• Translates business needs into training offerings and communications materials
• Review and manage existing content libraries to determine opportunities to improve the learning and communications experience for our employees, ensure the content is current, relevant and that the best technology platform is used

Other Projects

• Manage the incentive proxy risk assessment process annually. McKesson conducts an annual review of all the variable pay plans and reports the findings to the Compensation committee. The objective of this plan is to access and quantify risks for the enterprise and recommend adjustments, if any is required to minimize risk.
• Manage the retention program/payments for the enterprise.
  

Required Education/Experience Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field 4+ Program Management experience. 7+ years of relevant experience.

Previous experience working as part of a cross-functional team Effective personal and interpersonal skills, including the ability to influence others, drive new capabilities and bring new ways of thinking into the organization Effective listening and communication skills across mid-level management and business area teams.
