| Reporting to the Director of Category Management, the Senior Merchandising Coordinator is responsible for providing support which would include but not be limited to coordination of Front Store programs and services, sales coordination, promotional data input and data analysis. Specific Responsibilities: - Coordinates Promotional schedules, system entries and communication to category and merchandising management
- Coordinates all Item listings and maintains the data integrity of the merchandising system by managing product data to ensure cost and product information is accurate
- Coordinate promotional activities for flyers, in-store promotions and special events in accordance with set schedules
- Create/maintain Promotional store groups and profiles and facilitate Promotional downloads to stores
- Maintains Front Store promotional processes to ensure efficient promotional tools and services are provided to membership
- Provides validation processes for items, flyers, in-store promotions and special events to ensure data integrity
- Promotional analysis and reporting for the Category & Merchandising management teams
- Performs margin and pricing analysis to support key business initiatives as required
- Facilitate distribution communications between category management and stores
- Facilitates flyer creation and proofing to ensure data integrity
- Work closely with internal groups: Category Managers, Category Coordinators and Merchandising team
- Involved in analytics for program proposals and meetings
- Supports planogram creation and listings
- Facilitates local store promotions with operations and merchandising
- Supports data and system integrity for the annual Showcase
- Respond to ad hoc merchandising requests
- Perform other duties as assigned
General Responsibilities: - Must be flexible and able to work as a team member and independently
- Key contributor of organizing all merchandising programs and services and ensuring all deadlines and obstacles are met and dealt with effectively and professionally
- Must be able to interact successfully with all levels of executives, peers, customers, etc.
Position Requirements: - 2-3 year College diploma in a related discipline required; University Degree preferred
- 2-3 years experience in Merchandising, preferably in a retail environment
- Excellent communication both verbal and written
- Strong financial and analytical skills
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Must possess a positive attitude and high energy
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills - Excel, Word and Power Point
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and able prioritize workload accordingly
