Purpose The Instructional Designer will use multimedia technology and authoring tools to design and develop instructional materials. These materials will facilitate learners in acquiring knowledge, skills and competencies in an effective and appealing manner. Duties and Job Responsibilities: eLearning Design: -
Develops storyboards and scripts for e-learning and virtual live training -
Create material/media to support learning (audio, video, simulations, role plays, games etc.) -
Creates and edits e-learning using Articulate Storyline -
Is able to design and develop SCORM compliant e-learning -
Works with LMS administrator to successfully publish training materials Multimedia Design: -
Creates multimedia designs in a variety of software's (Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, Adobe Creative Cloud, etc.) -
Develops and edits audio/sound and other multi-media materials required for training Graphic Design: -
Develop compelling training materials using advanced design principals -
Use colors, images, text style, and layout to communicate a specific message -
Incorporate changes recommended by internal and external clients -
Extensively reviews designs for errors before publishing Instructional Design: -
Work with subject matter experts and identify target audience's training needs -
Develop objectives and ensure content matches those objectives -
Revise and rewrite content to shape it for learning needs -
Create engaging learning activities and compelling course content that enhances retention and transfer -
Determine the criteria used to judge learner's performance and develop assessment instruments -
Conduct instructional research and analysis on learners and contexts -
Apply tested instructional design theories, practice and methods -
Present information using a variety of instructional techniques and formats such as role playing, simulations, team exercises, group discussions, videos and lectures. Minimum Requirements -
5+ years of experience designing and developing a variety of delivery modalities -
4+ years of demonstrated experience as an e-learning developer -
4+ years of project management -
Experience virtually leading trainings/meetings Critical Skills: -
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Articulate 360, Adobe Creative Cloud -
Ability to produce e-learnings at a proficient level -
Strong organizational skills including the ability to prioritize, work under pressure and meet deadlines and schedules -
Ability to communicate effectively, both written and oral -
Strong customer service orientation -
Strong consulting and/or problem solver with the ability to present issues clearly and provide answers -
Copy development, referencing, and editing/proofreading skills Additional Skills: -
Pharmacy system or System Implementations experience a plus -
Highly motivated and committed to excellence with a positive attitude -
Ability to communicate with diverse groups and individuals Education: -
Bachelor's degree in multimedia design, graphic design, or instructional design, or equivalent experience in training, design, and development -
Concentration on adult education or instructional design a plus -
Master's degree a plus Physical Requirements -
