Job Summary CBRE is seeking an energy analyst to support a large e-commerce, cloud computing, and digital streaming company to achieve their aggressive energy and sustainability goals. The scope for this position will begin by assisting the client in preparing for a large electric vehicle roll out. The role will also get exposure to supporting energy and sustainably programs, utility procurement, and energy efficiency programs. Supervisory Responsibilities No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. May provide informal assistance such as technical guidance, and/or training to coworkers. May coordinate and assign tasks to co-works within a work unit and/or project. Education and Experience Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from a four-year College or university preferred. Minimum two years of related experience and/or training preferred. Certificates and/or Licenses CEM or EMIT accreditation preferred or interest in obtaining Communication Skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills is a must. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely reliable and courteous service to clients. Ability to effectively present information. Financial Knowledge Requires knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and/or commissions. Conducts basic financial analysis. Reasoning Ability Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires intermediate analytical and qualitative skills. Other Skills and Abilities Ability to write reports, manuals in a pre-designed style and format. Scope of Responsibility Decisions made with understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and deadlines. Responsible for setting own project deadlines. Errors in judgement may cause short-term impact to co-workers and supervisor.
