Primary Accountabilities

• Leads the development and management of the strategy for the company’s internal startup studio for Adjacency Holdings, Inc. including the process for ideation and validation of new businesses in support of AHI and the broader company`s strategic direction.
• Manages and leads a team that can systematically validate new venture ideas quickly and effectively, build and manage the team to execute successfully as new ventures move into MVP development and prove product-market fit, and develop a repeatable process to do this cost effectively at scale and in alignment with the company’s long term goals.
• Oversees the process to produce and collect a steady stream of creative ideas that have the potential to add value and provide solutions to future, adjacent growth opportunities for the company.
• MBA degree is preferred, but not required.
• Evaluates and screens new ideas against established criteria, prioritizes ideas for funding requests, oversees stages of development and testing, and delivers viable solutions for new businesses.
• Helps shape the future of the company by understanding near term incremental and long term transformational innovation, anticipates the impact of market and technology trends and changing consumer needs, and translates those into new venture opportunities likely to be a nexus to the company’s future.
• Collaborates with personnel across the enterprise from areas such as Business Development, Strategy and Centers of Excellence to understand the company`s goals and how the studio can support business strategy. Collaborates within Business Development to understand external research and development efforts and the linkages and synergies with internal efforts.
• MBA degree is preferred, but not required.
