We have created a brand new position that will support the alignment of thee wider McKesson Technology portfolio with clearer ownership of backbone integration and data assets. This position will lead with clear goals in operationalizing data and APIs which enable analytical insights and solution delivery at an accelerated pace.
Direct alignment of backbone capabilities for integration and data assets. Define API strategy to modernize McKesson's digital transformation
Provide architectural vision which reduces redundancy and costs in value delivery. Lead platform consolidation and reduced copies of data (on prem)
Act as a servant leader to other McKesson Technology areas in building business solutions. Interface with CIOs and business leaders on key, fiscal objectives Partner with sourcing and EA on vendor evaluations for support and value creation
Establish baseline of digital assets and alignment to common infrastructure. Drive towards BU operations, mitigate long term ERP risk
Lead capability needs assessments with solution teams aligned to value delivery
Lead support operations to customers in integrations/onboarding. Marry data assets with operational portals in hands on support of business. Leverage platform and cloud enablement to scale and improve integration operations
BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Software related field

Specialized Knowledge/Skills -
In this new role you will define policies and establish standards for modeling, structuring, naming, describing, securing, and. formatting data
Work with business and IT leadership to define and document the data architecture for enterprise data assets
Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models with associated metadata including data lineage and technical data definitions
Provide direction and guidance in the implementation of data warehouses, marts, cubes and universes to support analytic work product requirements
Lead efforts to implement a reference data and master data management strategy
Build and lead the data-architecture practice in support of strategic business and IT goals. Effectively work across team boundaries to establish data architecture and provide guidance to individual teams.
Design and develop end to end robust, scalable data ingestion pipelines and data platform architecture that will support the analytical and reporting needs of the various business organizations.
Work closely with the Data & Analytics team to help build the backend solutions for reporting, dashboarding, and analysis.
Ability to architect and build an end to end data platforms.
Strong understanding and experience building ELT/ETL solutions for both structured and unstructured data sets.
Launch and support new data models that provide intuitive analytics to internal customers
Prototype new technologies and implement innovative solutions to enable teams to consume and understand data faster.
Leverage business and domain acumen to interpret and translate business requirements to architecture/technology plans.
Experience in SQL Server, Snowflake, Salesforce, Databricks and Kafka
Exposure to NoSQL databases, Neo4J, MongoDB, Redis
In-depth knowledge of database structures/ data warehousing principles, and experience in SQL across different platforms including structured and unstructured data from various enterprise sources.
Experience in architecting solutions based on Microsoft Azure Data Platform including Azure SQL, Azure SQL Data Warehouse, Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory and Azure Analysis Services. Nice to have Big Query exp.
Expertise in data modeling principles/methods including conceptual, logical & physical Data Models.
Solid experience in different modeling patterns including Data Vault, Dimensional Star-Schema, 3NF, etc.
Experience in translating/mapping relational data models into XML, JSON Schemas and vise-versa.
