The Low Voltage Motor Control Center (LVMCC) development organization is continually expanding the IntelliCENTER portfolio, improving the integration to the Connected Enterprise and driving significant customer value and product differentiation through integration of our products with other Rockwell software tools and solutions. This position is geared toward candidates that have a background in software application development yet early in their career with a passion for excellence, continual learning and working with others to create awesome products. You will work in a small agile team environment in a software development role and contribute directly to new feature and test development for our evolving MCC software products.
This role will be expected to:
Contribute to software design, development, and testing of the software system under direction of a software technical lead or designer.
Develop an understanding of the requirements for the software and develop designs that meet those requirements. Provide time estimation for the design. Consider tradeoffs between requirements, speed, cost, and reliability in the choice of a design approach.
Develop and document code, according to the development process, that satisfies the software design. Develop and execute thorough unit test plans. Report, analyze, debug and correct defects. Integrate with other components to produce a final product.
Participate in reviews of documents, designs, code, test cases and user documentation.
Provide work estimates and status reports as requested. Maintain adequate interaction to ensure assigned tasks are prioritized appropriately.
Keep informed of new developments in the software engineering and computer engineering fields. Identify and participate in technical and developmental training opportunities.
Contribute to software development capability improvement in the areas of software development practices and development tools.
Research, consider, and explore new possibilities utilizing the latest technologies and standards.
Effectively team with others through mutually supportive professional relationships, open and direct communications, honesty, and respect. Able to cope with and leverage stylistic differences and differences of opinion.
Bachelor of Science degree

Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering.
Demonstrated self-starter capable of performing in a small team environment.
Working knowledge of the agile software development lifecycle using various technologies and test methodologies.
Demonstrated ability to work with and through others to accomplish objectives. Strong technical communication and collaboration skills.
Continuous improvement and problem-solving mindset
Experience with Angular, NodeJS, TestCafe, Git
Experience in development and testing cross-platform web, cloud, and mobile applications.
Experience with requirements management and software lifecycle management tools.
Experience with Continuous Integration (CI) methodology and tools.
Experience with Rockwell Automation Studio 5000 suite and architecture.
Experience in the use, configuration and technical support of industrial automation hardware and software.
Experience with anomaly management tools.
Demonstrated experience working in cross geographic teams
