About Eye Care Center of Ocala
Established in 2009, Eye Care Center of Ocala offers a comprehensive eye care experience to residents and families in the Ocala community and North Central Florida. A caring team of professionals are dedicated to providing high-quality full-scope optometry, and specialize in dry eye, glaucoma, age-related macular degeneration management, specialty contact lenses, as well as manage additional pathologies. The practice also cares for special populations of all ages and is well-known in the medical community. Patients are consistently referred to Eye Care Center of Ocala by local hospitals and medical providers. To help support business growth and offer additional services, the practice is looking for an Associate Optometrist to join a team of 22 employees.
Eye Care Center of Ocala is located in a new building, featuring a modern clinic, state-of-the-art technology, and a high-end optical boutique. The practice is well-equipped with the industry's leading technology, including Optos Monaco with built-in OCT, Topcon Maestro OCT/fundus camera and anterior segment OCT, Medmont Meridia Topographer with anterior segment photography including fluorescein capture, meibography, and iLux. The practice is fully staffed, and a support team of technicians and scribes enables the doctors to spend quality time with their patients. Approximately ten comprehensive exams are performed daily, with additional follow-ups in between.
About the Associate Optometrist Opening
Eye Care Center of Ocala has an opening for a well-rounded Associate Optometrist who can provide personalized service and ensure excellent vision care for all patients. You'll provide comprehensive vision exams, contact lens fittings and work alongside talented professionals. A candidate with prior experience in managing pathologies and specialty contact lenses, including RGPs, Ortho-K, and scleral lens fittings, will be an asset to the team. This is an excellent opportunity to care for diverse patients and support expanding service offerings such as pediatric eye care, vision therapy, and, potentially, aesthetics. In addition, for the right Associate Optometrist, a future ownership or partnership opportunity may be available.

The ideal candidate will be ambitious, responsible, service-oriented, community-involved, and willing to integrate new techniques and innovations that improve patient care and services.
