This role is for a Software Architect that will operate as a core member of the Transunion Consumer Relationships System and Contact Center team and will be responsible for enabling new features and optimizing strategic solutions within TransUnion's CRS platform.
As a member of our CRS technical leadership group, you will have both the accountability and freedom to build systems that are taking TransUnion to the next level. Success in this role requires a solid background in software development and architecture, CI/CD, strong experience with Cloud technologies, and/or working with multiple integrations type of applications.
What You'll Bring:
Bachelor's degree in STEM field
5+ years of experience in developing APIs and microservices
5+ years of experience providing technical solution architecture.
5+ years of direct hands-on with external cloud platforms specifically with Amazon Web Services (AWS.)
Experience with infrastructure as code (CloudFormation, Terraform)
Experience with building large scale application deployments, standard three tier web applications, APIs and Batches.
Good exposure to Agile software development and DevOps practices such as Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD
We'd Love to See:
AWS Solutions Architect certification
A working knowledge of IT infrastructure (server, network, storage, load balancing, clustering)
Development in a hybrid cloud environment is a plus
Knowledge of Salesforce is a plus
Knowledge of Mulesoft is a plus
Knowledge of Amazon Connect and Contact Center technologies is a plus
Impact You'll Make:
Work with enterprise and domain architects to define the cloud strategy, while developing and designing proof-of-concepts and providing direction in the ultimate delivery of the services
Work directly with Agile development teams to provide the technical guidance and high level solution blueprint in order to help deliver best in class products to our customers
Work as a technical leader alongside customer business, development and infrastructure teams
Architect foundational solutions to support expansive advancement of application deployments and migrations to public cloud environments.
Leverage new technology paradigms (e.g., serverless, containers, microservices)
Provide technical mentoring and guidance to engineering & operation teams to harden the platform.
Architect highly available and scalable systems on cloud platforms.
Develop automation and processes to quickly and rapidly deploy, manage, configure and scale cloud-based systems and stacks.
