What Rockwell Needs from You
We need a diverse workforce to do our best work. We need the makers, the forward thinkers, the problem solvers, and everything in between. That is where you come in. We are looking for a level 2 Inspector. This is a 2nd Shift role (M-F, 3PM-11PM) with a starting rate of $16.92 per hour with a $0.50 shift differential.
Performs inspection of manufacturing goods during the manufacturing process. Conducts dimensional and electrical inspection of sub-assemblies or final systems assemblies. Interprets prints, manufacturing drawings, diagrams, wire cards and lists in approving or rejecting in-process or final assemblies.
Responsibilities and Essential Functions:
Ability to read and interpret prints, work instructions and 3D models.
Perform documented visual and dimensional quality inspections using calipers, gauges, and other inspection tools.
Suggest improvements and assist in creating documented work instructions and process parameters.
Responsible for using proper safety equipment and following all safety procedures.
Responsible for performing housekeeping activities to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Ability to embrace change and respond quickly and constructively to changing priorities.
Ability to perform basic functions with computer.
Take an ownership of shift's quality performance and make quality decisions for production team.
Overtime is an essential function of this position which typically requires 4-16 hours of standard hours of overtime/week. Actual overtime hours may vary.
Interact with business system computer software with proficiency
Inspection tool usage (Caliper, comparator, etc.)
Attention to small details
High School Diploma/GED OR 2 years related experience

Typically requires 2 years of previously related experience
