What you'll do -
Assume overall responsibility for the successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of a project. The Project Manager is responsible to the project stakeholders for delivering a project's objectives within scope, schedule, cost, and quality.
Lead New Product, Process and Technology implementation initiatives while tightly managing project spend on capital & expense budgets.
Responsible for identifying, monitoring, and appropriately managing project risk and liaise with broader team on common issues and resolutions.
Lead team in complex or difficult situations, removing obstacles, assigning appropriate resources, and interacting with other functions to assist with issue resolution and streamlining of work process.
Work closely with Divisional and GQO representatives to drive successful project implementation. Actively engage with Manufacturing Operations ensuring best utilization of resource availability, floor space, minimized handling, and optimum process flow.
Responsible for clear, objective, and quantifiable measurement of Project/ Program progress (incl. PTQ, slippage, float, risk rating, financials etc.).
What you'll need -
Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline(Mechanical, Industrial, Medical-preferred)withat least 4yearsofprofessionalexperience in a technical and/or project management role.
Strong and demonstrated technical skills (engineering, manufacturing)
Demonstrated leadership, project management and engineering experience in new productdevelopment, with a history of bringing products to marketand driving decisions backed by data.
Demonstrated ability to define and effectively manage project risks.
Experience in NTDP (New Technology Development) and process development.
The individual should enjoy working in a dynamic & results oriented team environment where flexibility is essential.
Requires a positive attitude and demonstrated ability to influence other functions / stakeholders.Excellentinterpersonalskills - able to express ideas and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams. Be open minded with the ability to recognize good ideas.
Excellent analytical skills, ability to plan, organize and implement concurrent tasks. Ability to understand complex inputs and to be able to distil critical information.
Excellent attention to detail& ownership of their results.
High level of PC Skills required with expertise in MS Project. (MS Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications -
Previous medical device experience and/or manufacturing experience in an FDA or other highly regulated industry
Experience with 3D printing/additive technology, machine programming, and CAD software
Project Management Certification, or other PM Qualification
Lean Six Sigma Certification
4+ years of experience ina manufacturing, process development or newproductdevelopmentenvironment
Experience of GD&T, Process mapping,fabrication, material process flows,statisticalmethodsand process/ product validations.
