Work you'll do/Responsibilities
Senior Solution Specialists work as technical experts within an engagement team and are not responsible for project management. Key responsibilities will include:
Building prototypes, creating process design (including scenario design, flow mapping), work on testing and training activities, provide postproduction support and resolve issues
Understand the business processes, how the application supports the business processes, and apply this knowledge to best solve problems
Understands dependencies and interrelationships between functional components of Hyperion
Provide alternatives and recommendations based on best practices and application functionality
Interpret and transform information based on business requirements and provide the data for delivery
Develop functional specifications and complete object development and testing including creating and maintaining documentation
PBCS/EPBCS BSO and ASO cubes - Outlines, dimensions, measures, members, metadata administration with ability to design and configure databases, complex calculations, optimization and troubleshooting issues
Employ knowledge of Essbase to facilitate better deployment of Planning, application security, and other interface tools
Strong knowledge of data integration tools like Data Management on Cloud, FDMEE
Automation, SQL, Batch scripting, Esscmd and MaxL
Provide training and documentation for supported applications

6+ years of experience in the analyzing, designing, and development of the Hyperion EPM suite, especially with the Budget and Planning products on Cloud
Project experience in EPM Suite of Products 11.x and/or Oracle PBCS, Oracle EPBCS
Experience in Hyperion Planning forms, business rules, calculation scripts, variables and databases
Experience in the design and development of Hyperion reporting solutions and Hyperion Planning solutions and process improvements
Develop, implement, and maintain new ASO and BSO cubes and process flows
Automation, SQL, Batch scripting, Esscmd and MaxL
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience
Can work independently without handholding
Travel up to 20% annually (While 20% of travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice.)
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
Must be willing to work/relocate to Lake Mary, FL; Gilbert, AZ or Mechanicsburg, PA.
Experience implementing other Oracle EPM technologies: Account reconciliation cloud services (ARCS), Enterprise Performance Reporting Cloud Services (EPRCS), Enterprise Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service (EPBCS), Hyperion Planning, Profitability and Cost Management Cloud Service (PCMCS), Data Relationship Management (DRM) etc.
Functional knowledge around financial systems and processes
Proven skills as a team member or team lead on at least one full life cycle implementation
A proven track record in gathering business requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures and SLAs, and implementing robust and scalable solutions
Ability to work independently, manage small engagements
Willingness to participate in firm initiatives
Committed to gaining exposure to multiple industries and technologies
Adept at implementing technology-enabled solutions to address business requirements for clients as part of a high-talent team
Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint)
