The Customer and Marketing practice of Deloitte is seeking data scientists to work with Fortune 500 companies to transform their organizations. We are looking for individuals who are adept at understanding how strategic recommendations can be implemented in market, enabled by data science and analytics. As part of our team you will lead development of analysts to support the creation and implementation of customer-led strategies and commercial transformations.
What you'll do:
â¢ You'll leverage your expertise to apply data science methods and analytics to develop the strategic and tactical foundation for data-driven client challenges. You'll work to achieve client goals at the intersection of marketing/customer experience and data/analytics/automation/AI.
Day-to-day, your role includes:
â¢ Being on a team responsible for distilling complex data and process into simple, clear visualizations that solve clients' challenges
â¢ Leveraging modern development tools and writing code to uncover data insights
â¢ Applying advanced analytics and an understanding of machine learning techniques to synthesize complex data and highlight business implications for clients
â¢ Collaborating with teammates to analyze data and translate into actionable insights for clients
â¢ Working together with internal teams and external partners to drive success for clients' business goals

Customer Strategy & Applied Design
Deloitte's Customer Strategy and Applied Design practice serves as the strategy and experience arm of our Customer and Marketing portfolio of offerings.
Spanning the domains of customer experience, marketing strategy, commercial transformation and innovation/design, our team brings the insight and industry perspective to shape client agendas in the face of disruption. Our team is a diverse array of business strategists, operations experts, designers and technologists passionate about partnering with clients to create customer-centered experiences and solutions in the market.
We're looking for strong, impactful work experience, which typically includes:
â¢ 3-5 years of experience providing advanced analytics solutions
â¢ A four-year college degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Machine Learning; advanced degree is a plus
â¢ Prior experience working with large quantitative and qualitative datasets both
â¢ Ability to use appropriate methodology and approach for data science solutions to business problems.
â¢ Ability to derive methods for reporting on analytic results that control for outside factors
â¢ Knowledge of statistical methodologies including multivariate regression, Bayesian statistics, categorization methods, time series, survival analysis
â¢ Experience in data science/statistical programming language (R or Python preferred)
â¢ Passion for customer analytics and marketing data solutions
â¢ Strong collaboration skills
â¢ The ability to excel in a fast-paced environment
â¢ Expertise across one or more capabilities:
â¢ Statistical modeling
â¢ Experience in core analytic methods such as predictive modeling, customer segmentation/clustering, network analysis, pricing, marketing optimization, etc.
