The Finance Leadership Development Program (FLDP) provides participants with the opportunity to apply finance skills, strengthen business acumen, and accelerate their career. Through three challenging rotational assignments, mentoring from Finance leadership, and fast-paced training and development opportunities, FLDP participants gain the skills required to lead and manage critical business and financial initiatives throughout the company. The program will prepare participants to influence the decisions of key stakeholders and work with leadership to drive financial results.
Role assignments could be in areas such as:
Financial Planning & Analysis
SEC & External Reporting
Investment Decision & Analysis
Commercial (Sales) Reporting & Analysis
Minimum Background and Experiences
Progress towards MBA degree with an emphasis in Finance or Accounting or involved in related extracurricular activities
Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 and an anticipated completion date in 2022
3-5 years of relevant experience in at least one of the following areas: Finance, Accounting, or transferable field
Preferred Background and Experiences
Knowledge of financial systems, analysis methodologies and technical standards applicable to corporate accounting and finance
Demonstrated ability to drive differentiated results
Global mindset and experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds
Demonstrated analytical proficiency

This position is located at our global headquarters in Saint Joseph and Benton Harbor, Michigan. Whirlpool Corporation’s headquarters is located in the community in which we were founded. Known as the “Twin Cities,” Saint Joseph and Benton Harbor offer thriving year-round shopping and arts districts, quaint shops, wineries, bakeries and restaurants.
