About the Opportunity
Our National IT is now offering a Cyber Security Internship Opportunity
The Summer Internship Program provides outstanding students with the opportunity to gain valuable work experience at a unique institution. Through advanced project work assignments and professional development activities, interns are provided with an extensive understanding of the work of the Federal Reserve. Interns will have the opportunity to network with other cyber security professionals to learn more about the security domain. Interns help develop conceptual, logical and security IT engineering designs, that support the cyber security infrastructure requirements of varying levels of technical and business application projects. Complete analysis of business requirements, adding security requirements as needed, as it relates to technical infrastructure secure design, and ensure traceability of the security design to the business requirements. Assesses security testing requirements and prepares testing.
What You Will Do:
Support security teams to define and implement security controls, work with security technology and support security operations and risk management.
Take on cross functional opportunities that teach you on the job cyber fundamental skills.
Produce and socialize insights that influence the security teams through synthesizing research learnings, identifying key insights, and reporting back to cross-functional stakeholders
Participate in evaluating secure design strategies. Identifies potential security design problems and makes recommendations for improvements as well as being forward thinking with the pace of the security industry and vendor solutions.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Current sophomores, juniors, and seniors pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Cyber Security
3.0+ overall GPA
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work effectively in a team environment
Creative thinker who embraces change
Strong project management skills, including organization, planning, and execution, analytical and problem-solving skills
