Job Description Analytics and Behavior Change (A&BC) is an innovation center within CVS that provides advanced data science solutions to drive EBIT to CVS Healthâ™s P&Ls (Aetna, Caremark, Retail). Member Analytics is one of the largest verticals in A&BC and focuses on development of machine learning solutions that identify members and customers for targeted omnichannel outreach aimed at changing behavior to improve health outcomes, reduce out of pocket costs, drive utilization of CVS assets, and reduce the enterpriseâ™s medical cost.
We are looking for an organized, strategic thinker with technical familiarity to join Member Analyticsâ™ Strategy and Analytics Products team. This team drives strategy and operations for the business unit and is charged with the development of revenue-generating products that commercialize internal innovations (e.g., machine learning models) for sale to B2B customers.
This role will have two primary functions:
Strategy Lead: Identifying and driving various strategic initiatives to help member analytics meet its annual earnings goals. Projects may include developing new focus areas for the team to apply A&BC solutions and methods to drive behavior change in the Aetna medical population, improving core internal processes, and leading executive reporting.
Product Lead: Leading one of our analytics products and serving as the primary stakeholder representative. We develop analytics products on behalf of our business partners and it is essential that we have a leader who can be the primary Point of Contact to business teams. This role will include developing new requirements with a technical team to respond to stakeholder business needs, serving as a thought partner for our stakeholders to guide product design, leading brainstorming with data scientists to tackle problems, and ensuring deadlines are hit.
Core Skills for A Successful Candidate
- The ability to independently develop scope and plans for net new initiatives, and the ability to drive those initiatives from idea to completion. - A familiarity with data and data science, and a willingness to learn high level technical concepts and work with data science teams. - Excellent organizational and communication skills. - Client relationship building experience. - High level statistics knowledge, specifically focused on A/B testing. - Knowledge or experience with the US healthcare system.
Required Qualifications â¢ 3+ years of business experience, leading analyses and initiatives with track record of business impact. â¢ 2+ years of experience programming using Python and SQL. â¢ 3+ years of experience strategy consulting or on strategy teams in large companies.

Preferred Qualifications â¢ Minimum of 5 years total business experience. â¢ Experience in Python, R, or other programming languages. â¢ Strong knowledge of advanced analytic tools and languages to analyze large data sets from multiple data sources. â¢ Proficiency in most areas of mathematical analysis methods, machine learning, statistical analyses and predictive modeling. â¢ Healthcare Industry experience preferred.
Education Bachelor's degree in quantitative field, or an equivalent combination of formal education and experience. Master's degree in quantitative field or MBA strongly preferred.
