As our Transcatheter Valvular Interventions team continues to grow, we are now recruiting for a Transcatheter edge-to-edge repair (TEER) & Transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI)Specialist to cover Ireland & Northern Ireland (based from Ireland).
The TEER & TAVI Specialist will be responsible for establishing and growing the TAVI, MitraClip and TriClip sales and implants in assigned centres, implementing defined strategies for the purpose of increasing market share and revenue generation, as well as independently supporting TAVI and MitraClip cases to an expert level, and to become proficient in TriClip as growth in procedural volume allows.
The TEER & TAVI Specialist will maintain all aspects of assigned commercial activity, including KOL relationships, monitoring of competitor activity and pricing, working in a collaborative and cross-functional manner with the UK organization. Conversant in all aspects of the product portfolios, and able to effectively communicate the rationale of using our technology, this role will provide practical and theoretical technical support to the existing or potential customer base. The recruited individual will develop and maintain expert status and continually develop clinical proficiency in product expertise that goes beyond features and benefits, focusing also on design, development, clinical application and competitive positioning. The ideal candidate will have the ability to operate commercially with both clinical and commercial customers and to understand the following: trends in heart disease management therapies, local market dynamics in terms of political influences, healthcare budgets and reimbursement policies, local opportunities and threats, including competitors' strategies and offerings. The TEER & TAVI Specialist will also need to be involved with patient recruitment/referrals, patient selection and data dissemination during "clinical campaigns".
What you'll need:
BSc in a relevant field.
Strong clinical background, in the catheter lab (TAVI ideal).
Strong Communication Skills: verbal and written.
Willingness to travel a high proportion of their working time.
Familiarity with cath lab and operating room procedures and protocols.
Strong Cardiac Anatomy & Physiology knowledge.
