We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled research scientist to join the CAR-T group within NIBR's Exploratory Immuno-Oncology department. You'll become a key individual contributor in a dynamic, multidisciplinary discovery team interrogating novel immuno-oncology targets and cell therapy platforms. You will generate data that increases our understanding of emerging CAR-T cell therapies. The high-quality data generated by your efforts will directly affect the development of novel treatment methods and contribute to the design of future clinical trials and therapies. This position will be ideal for those candidates wishing to link their interest in immuno-oncology with their strong desire to discover and develop novel therapeutic approaches.
Key Responsibilities: *Plan, optimize, and execute experiments independently; accurately record, interpret, and communicate data to team members. *Establish assays utilizing primary cells and cell lines to probe targets of interest and validate potential therapeutic tools and reagents. *Work with internal and external co-workers to test, optimize and advance new therapies into early development. *Present data in meetings and deliver presentations to both small and large groups. *The candidate needs to have expert knowledge of immune cell biology and molecular biology.
