You will be part of the Data and Analytics Product Management team that designs, develops, and delivers software applications that empower business users with more efficient workflows and advanced analytics, so they can do their jobs faster, better, and more accurately. We are product owners, analysts, QA experts, and release mangers who set the vision of the products we build and coordinate the entirety of the product lifecycle. We work with our business partners to identify and prioritize value. We orchestrate the work across IT, design, data engineering, data science, BI, and application development.
As an Automation Test Engineer, Sr Advisor at CVS Health in our Enterprise Analytics group, you will be testing components of the Underwriting Platform, a software application that serves financial users from our Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM) business unit. You will work on testing multiple components of the application, and your primary responsibility will be ensuring that Underwriting Transformation Products are delivered of high quality and on time.. Your role is vital to ensure that testing requirements have been met before changes are put into production. This has a great impact on end users of these applications and the quality of service we provide to our internal customers. What you will be doing: â¢ Participate in the full software development project lifecycle with emphasis on Quality Assurance activities in the proper implementation. â¢ Support the development of comprehensive test strategies, plans, reports and environments for manual or automated testing for multiple IT projects in a release cycle. â¢ Lead or participate in continuous improvement initiatives or best practices to identify and implement tools and utilities that enhance testing capabilities and product quality â¢ Implement the quality assurance strategy and planning, effort estimation, and software quality assurance risks assessment and mitigation. â¢ Execute test cases and validate results, meet deadlines and provide first tier of triage for project defects found during test execution. â¢ Generate test reports that communicate test results, concerns and project status with an emphasis on project risk, including defect rates to the product management team. â¢ Ensure risks are timely identified and mitigated through proactive risk planning â¢ Helping QA colleagues, monitor the projects executed by them and guide them to be successful.
Required Qualifications â¢ 8+ Years of experience in development of test strategy, test schedule, estimates, detailed test cases and execution to ensure adequate test. coverage for projects following iterative agile/scrum methodologies. â¢ 5+ Years of experience in building automation framework and its implementation across large organization. â¢ 4+ years of experience on Python, SQL queries, automation tools and technologies is a must. â¢ 5+ years of experience in building QA Automation Architecture

Preferred Qualifications â¢ Quality assurance experience of finance applications. Experience with insurance and pharmacy benefit management a plus. â¢ Experience with Azure Databricks. â¢ Experience with Continuous Integration environments (e.g., Jenkins, GIT) â¢ Expert on understanding complex business logic (involving large amount of data and calculations) â¢ Strong understanding of different types of testing including but not limited to: Functional, Integration, Regression, shakeout, E2E etc.
Education â¢Bachelorâ™s Degree in Computer Science, Applied Math, Operation Research, Statistics, Health Policy, or other related field; or Advanced Degree
