The Sr. Associate, Learning & Development (L&D) position is responsible for effectively and efficiently executing the learning and development strategy for N.A. manufacturing operations. The role will focus on projects and solutions for the Waxdale manufacturing site, keeping in mind the broader goal to leverage solutions across multiple SCJ manufacturing sites whenever possible.
This position will work with Waxdale manufacturing site leaders and stakeholders to identify and prioritize employee knowledge, skill, or behavior gaps to drive the business strategy. The Sr. Associate will work cross-functionally to establish and manage appropriate projects and strategies to close gaps.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Develop, manage, and evaluate projects, processes, and systems to meet the learning and development needs of the business.
Identify and prioritize employee technical knowledge/skill gaps and partner with site leadership to develop and execute gap closure plan.
Design and implement learning measurement strategy.
Develop, enhance, and maintain all L&D metrics and reports.
Manage continuing education program for Manufacturing Operations and support groups.
Co-Administrator for SCJ Learning Management System (LMS): Workday Learning. Serve as a subject matter expert for course management, assignment, and troubleshooting. Manage various day-to-day operational aspects of the LMS such as course assignment, reporting and tracking.
Consult and advise business units on eLearning strategy and implementation through the LMS
Create and maintain communication sites (MS Teams, SharePoint).
Partner with the contractor workforce providers to develop, communicate, and maintain contractor training procedures.
Manage L&D site-wide communications
Work with all levels of the Global Learning & Development team on site-wide L&D strategies and alignment
Develop on-the-job, instructor-led training and eLearning solutions to address compliance gaps and create control plans.
Help drive completion for all required compliance or regulatory training.
Lead and develop Orientation and Onboarding programs.
Required Skills / Experience / Competencies:
5 years' experience in training and development, or equivalent experience in a manufacturing environment with training and or lean responsibilities.
Preferred Skills / Experience / Competencies:
Strong project management skills
Learning management system experience
Strong computer proficiency in MS Office Suite: Word, Excel, PPT, Teams
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated ability to lead indirectly through influence
Strong attention to detail
Experience supporting or working in a manufacturing environment
Demonstration of Lean Knowledge and Tools
Instructional Design Experience
Training facilitation and delivery experience
Experience working in digital learning modalities such as augmented reality and simulations
