The Impact You'll Make in this Role
As a Human Resources Coordinator, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
Full cycle payroll processing for 290 hourly/bargaining unit employees on a weekly basis. (Adjusting time sheets, calculating payroll adjustments, etc)
Represent the HR department by answering phones, greeting all visitors, and supporting the HR Department's objectives.
Proactively assist the HR Department with assignments. Interpret and communicate policies and procedures and serve as a liaison to respond to all internal and external inquiries.
Maintain accurate employee files and manage audit processes for compliance.
Coordinate and participate in department meetings, events, committees, trainings, new hire onboarding, conferences, etc.
Oversight and involvement with all Employee Events. (Company picnic, Healthy Living Events, etc.)
Manage job bid process per the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
Maintain organization of personnel records while preserving confidentiality.
Coordinate and administer orientation of new hires by providing information packets and reviewing relevant information with the new employees.
Effectively manages and maintains associate data and transactions in HRIS/Workday, other HR technology systems
Full cycle candidate screening, interviewing and hiring for plant hourly production positions.
Assists and supports the Human Resource Manager with projects, tasks.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
Five (5) years of Human Resources experience in a private, public, government or military environment
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
Experience using Workday (HRIS system)
Ability to manage multiple tasks at once in a fast paced environment

Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
