What you’ll be doing...
VBG, Verizon Business Group, supports global customers with Customer Premise Equipment (CPE).
As a Supply Chain Consultant you will be responsible for the Order Coordination functions that support all CPE customers with customer centric mindset for task completions. A great deal of critical thinking, task completion, and process review must be accomplished along the way.
Completing tasks in procurement systems to ensure CPE orders flow in a timely manner.
Addressing expedites and escalations.
Collaborating with the order management team to ensure the warehouse is in full compliance; manage any issues that arise in a timely manner.
Engaging with multiple teams across multiple organizations as needed to address any Order Coordination Tasks and deliver exceptional customer service.
Building collaborative relationships by providing partnership and communication, both verbally and written, with customers and internal teams.
Resolving problems while identifying areas for process improvements/enhanced operational efficiencies and establishing plans for implementation.
Actively managing multiple time-sensitive requests, and effectively interfacing with all levels of management while supporting enhancements to the overall process.
Tracking delivery service levels, and delivering expectations set forth by internal customers and partners.
In this remote role, you'll work from home with occasional in-person trainings and meetings.
What we’re looking for...
You’ll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
Four or more years of relevant work experience.
Even better if you:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related discipline.
Four or more years of experience with Supply Chain functions.
Experience with SAP, PC, PQ, OrderPro, F&E, Premisys.
Experience with all Windows-Based Applications including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Creative thinking skills with problem solving and process design.
Ability to work dynamic environments and deliver service to demanding clientele.
Strong statistical and data analysis skills.
