Responsible for selling products and/or services within an assigned geographic area, or list of customer accounts to achieve sales target. Pursues sales leads, visits existing and new customers, assesses customer needs and suggests appropriate products and services, negotiates price and delivery times within limits of authority and concludes sales orders and transactions to meet revenue target. Duties involve direct one-to-one communication with customers/clients. May generate and develop new channel partners. Responsible for maintaining effective agreements. Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of identifiable factors. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
Works directly with the client and will be required to create and present during Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR's).
Must be able to work predominately independently within managerial guidelines to maintain and build client base in your region.
Develop and implement long and short-term sales and marketing strategies for growing territory market share for Plasma & Specialty products.
Grow Hospital MPB Distribution business through strategic sales of new, financially, significant
Business, involving one-on-one communication with customer (s).
Manage and drive a funnel of sales targets from beginning to end (up to ten in funnel at time) and customize a solution set for each prospective customer with a detailed sales process in SalesForce.
Thoroughly understand and explain McKesson's offerings and key benefits to current and potential
customers, sales partners and other members of the implementation, conversion and/or
Work collectively with regional Pharma teams to optimize sales and close business and maintain
Increase MPB revenue and EBIT.
Work with GPO's and manufacture representatives
Responsible for sales expenses and weekly and monthly reporting to be submitted to management
Attend Industry trade shows in your region as required
5 years sales experience within healthcare
Engaging in C-Suite Management with presenting data and analysis in QBR's
Proficient in Microsoft Office / Office 365
Salesforce.com, CRM program or some other on-line sales tool experience
Current driver's license required with clean MVR
Must be able to travel up to 50%
Additional Knowledge & Skills
Highly preferred candidates will have 5+ years of outside sales experience in the healthcare industry along with MPB experience
Understand Acute Care Health Systems, pricing, and product knowledge
Proven track record of growing and penetrate market share
Large, complex RFP, RFE, RFI, and Renewal process knowledge/experience
Ability to close multi-million-dollar deals
Ability to manage workflow in large matrix organization
BS degree in business or related filed or equivalent experience in Healthcare
