We are seeking an Associate Director, Content Strategist that is passionate about brands and eager to help grow a new agency model. Who You Are
You're perfect for this role if you're a blend of strategist, storytelling, researcher, and problem solver. You know that great content not only solves problems, but also drives businesses to succeed.
You believe content strategy must be embedded into strategy, marketing, user experience, technology, and creative - and enjoy playing the role of connector between all of these disciplines. You can make sense of any mess, and like organizing ideas and processes.
You have a strong point of view on content and can articulate it both internally and with clients to be a champion of the discipline, and a true expert. You like building businesses, have an entrepreneurial spirit, and have experience leading teams to measurable results.

Work You'll Do
Serve as the Content Strategy lead for a client or project, defending and selling the most appropriate content solution
Represent both the user interest and the business need in strategy workshops and sessions
Work independently and as part of a cross-functional team of strategists, project managers, creatives, and technologists
Leverage user research to identify content needs and gaps across stages of the user journey
Create and maintain content strategy documentation, including content inventories, audits, value propositions, strategies, migration plans, content models, message maps, editorial calendars, and content playbooks
Lead workshop for teams and clients
Define and maintain standards for content governance in terms of quality, relevance, consistency, and uniqueness
Present content strategy methods, recommendations, thought leadership and rationale to peers, team members, clients, and Deloitte leadership
Advocate for and advance the Content Strategy practice at Deloitte Digital
Be a core member of the overall strategy team at Deloitte Digital
7+ years professional experience in content strategy for product and web
Strong grasp of brand and digital marketing
Strong experience working with UX, creative, and technology
Strong understanding of user-centered content strategy principles and best practices
Strong enthusiasm for digital trends and emerging technologies
Familiarity with SEM and SEO, including keyword research, organic and paid search
Familiarity with digital CMS, marketing technology platforms, and best practices
An undergraduate or graduate degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or Library Science or Human Computer Interaction
