What you’ll be doing...
Lead a team of Information Technology Architects (IT Architects) and Subject Matter Experts designing GTS network fault and performance management solutions for large corporate clients.
Design the Verizon’s End-to-End (E2E) State-of-Art topology meeting multiple commercial requirements for major corporations.
Lead architect designing both Data Center and Cloud solutions; responsible for designing active-active systems and networks and disaster recovery solutions.
As the principal architect of the OSS platform, you would be designing systems required to meet 99.99999 on-line reliability rates using active-active technologies.
Lead OSS architect and representative to the Verizon IPv6 Center of Excellence responsible for developing detailed White Papers for internal OSS users on the migration of networks and platforms from IPv4 to IPv6 for both commercial and federal customers.
Lead Architect in designing U.S. Government (Federal) networks.
Lead architect in designing Department of Defense (DoD) secure networks supporting classified and non-classified military networks (.mil), including network fault and performance management solutions incorporating FISMA-High accreditation standards.
Lead architect in designing solutions and implementing security POAMs meeting FEDRAMP requirement in Verizon’s networks.
What we’re looking for...
You'll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
Six or more years of relevant work experience.
Experience in engineering, designing, installing, operating and maintaining critical telecommunication and IT infrastructure for global enterprises and public sector agencies.
Detailed knowledge and experience designing, installing, operating and maintaining DoD secure and non-secure networks.
Detailed knowledge and experience accrediting DoD and U.S. Government (Federal) IT Infrastructures.
Experience managing projects/budgets valued at 500,000,000.00 dollars or more.
Experience in leading a team of Engineers and Architects responsible for providing IT architectural recommendations and solutions for large corporations, DoD and U.S. Government clients.
Experience as an executive Sr. Architect of Information Technology to forward face DoD, U.S. Government and C-Level clients.
Even better if you have:
Eight or more years of experience designing Secure Internet Protocol (SIPRNET) and Non-Secure Internet Protocol (NIPRNET) networks.
Ability to interact with Senior-Ranking DoD personnel and Senior U.S. Federal Government representatives in designing, operating and maintaining state-of-art networks.
Ability to provide detailed business analysis reports and recommendations to C-Level personnel for IT solutions.
Ability to interact with C-Level and Senior-Executive Level personnel on a daily basis combining detailed architectural solutions in alignment with corporate or business needs.
Eight or more years of experience accrediting military networks and certifying U.S. Government Federal networks (FISMA Certifications); knowledge of IAVA compliance.
Expert knowledge of designing systems with specific levels of security standards for the public sector. Understand network, compute and infrastructure security at expert level, preferably with certifications in the domain.
Experience with data center network technology, virtualization, SDWAN/VNS, SNMP, Cisco equipment.
Experience with Cisco NSO and Cisco ESC/OpenStack solutions.
Experienced Government Contracting Officer, knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR).
Eight or more years of experience developing Performance Work Statements (PWS), Statements of Work (SOW) and proposal responses to PWS requirements.
