A successful Manager, Professional Services will develop, mentor and lead a team of highly motivated and capable Project Managers that are exceptionally focused on bringing Fiserv's best-in-industry products to our clients and their customers. As the manager of this team, you will have a direct influence on the revenue recognized from our implementations, on the direction of the portfolio of business, and most importantly on the professional growth of the team.
Required qualifications for consideration: - Experience coaching and mentoring Project Managers, colleagues, and clients through projects in the most efficient, time driven manner while championing Fiserv quality goals; requires a high level of accountability for tasks and deliverables. - Experience building, implementing, tracking, and communicating a portfolio of business. - Experience in hiring and performance management processes and providing input to the staffing budget process. - Experience in developing and establishing department standards and procedures including recommending the most efficient ways to ensure best implementation practices of new or upgraded products. - Ability to build and support strong internal partnerships throughout a varied and complex business. - Ability to build and support strong external partnerships through direct and indirect (reseller) client relationships. - Advanced negotiating skills demonstrating ability to prioritize client demands against the available resources of the business and influence internal and external groups to find common ground. Includes handling of client escalations regarding features, functionality, budgets, timelines, and priorities to ensure projects stay within scope and schedule. - Understanding and execution of industry-standard project and program governance practices including the ability to coach associates regarding project management methodology. Includes an understanding of risk mitigation and how technology and client business decisions impact risk. - Ability to translate client needs to a Product team for consideration into future product releases, and the ability to influence the priority of deliverables to represent client needs. - Demonstrated focus on assisting Sales and Technical Sales Support teams in closing new or renewed business that maximizes Fiserv's ability to implement. - Exceptional written and verbal communication skills including the ability to represent Fiserv to C-level client contacts and represent the team on various enterprise-wide, cross-functional programs. - 5+ years of experience in professional/client services management.
Preferred skills, experience and education: - Demonstrated ability to build a strong understanding of Fiserv products and services, operational processes, and technical foundations. - Comfortable working in a rapidly changing business environment where internal and external stressors may become high from time to time. - Project management tools experience including MS Project. - Knowledge of time-tracking and other professional services automation tools (for example, Clarity). - Bachelor's or higher degree in Business Administration or related field of study. - Minimum ten years' experience in an implementation related area. Special consideration will be given to candidates with eCommerce, FinTech and/or banking industry experience.
