Our Fiserv development team supports the development of the ATM/Debit online and card services solutions for DNA(r) - one of Fiserv's core retail banking systems. We deliver product enhancements, implementation support and maintenance support. We are currently looking for a Senior Software Developer.
Competencies, Experience and Education
* Excellent Programming skills on SQR, PL/SQL, XML, Python and SQR (optional). * Performance turning on PLSQL Stored Procedures. * Experiences with web technologies and profound knowledge in .Net C# programming. * Experiences in REST/API services for enterprise solutions. * Experiences in test automation frameworks and tools. * Good understanding of various Design Patterns, application frameworks, 3rd-party products and solutions available in the field. * Familiar with Agile/Scrum processes. * Self-motivated, highly collaborative, creative, with clear communication skills and strong sense of ownership. * Bank / Credit Union or financial services experience is a plus. Knowledge in card processing and services is an asset. * A degree in computer science or engineering, and four years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. * Technologies: Oracle Database, Microsoft SQL Server, .Net / IIS applications, service-oriented architectures, web services, Python, REST API. * Tools: JIRA, GitHub, TFS, ALM, Postman, SoapUI. * Development lab virtualization platforms such as Microsoft Azure and SkyTap. * Experience working on multi-site, multi-time-zone, agile teams - Eastern Time, Pacific Time, India.
General Duties and Responsibilities
* Work closely with business analysts, architects, other team members and stakeholders to build new features and support existing products - understand requirements, troubleshoot issues and identify issue root-cause, develop and refine solution designs, develop, test, document and present code. Participate in code reviews. * Be able to work independently in an agile environment from inception to release support. * Collaborate on work breakdown and execution with focus on incremental and frequent delivery of value and quality to the client. * Estimate work, track status in self-serve workflow systems, provide updates. Adhere to deadlines. * Learn and adhere to Fiserv processes, standards, frameworks, tools, development, and work management methodologies as pertaining to software development, architecture, and cyber security. Take an active role in researching best practices in these areas to better serve company goals."
