The Sr Interaction Designer is responsible for designing the behavior of interaction products both within and beyond the screen. This position works closely with Visual Designers and developers to ensure these Interactions lead to the best potential outcome. The Sr Interaction Designer takes the lead on projects and see them through from the initial research phase to the final Demonstrate phase.
Assist in quantifying potential value to the enterprise from early-stage innovations. Leverage design methodologies to quickly identify and define problems and opportunity areas, develop hypothesis and select appropriate testing methods to validate assumptions.
Create simplified models of complex systems and large volumes of data.
Communicate concepts via narratives that speak to new business opportunities, feasibility, and viability.
Create Minimum viable concepts and prototypes to quickly test and evaluate ideas.
Able to translate business requirements into user stories.
Create service blueprints/ecosystem maps and customer journeys based on research inputs.
Create user flow diagrams, application maps, and wireframes.
Document Interaction Guidelines
Design and conduct user research, testing, and concept validation. Be able to identify and leverage meaningful data to design experiments that elicit the most value for stakeholders.
Collaborate with research, engineering, and other enterprise functions to determine the impact and ROI of design decisions on an overall business case.
Work with product development, data analytics, and marketing research to ensure that the work connects with the audience and achieves objectives
Quickly learn and understand new innovation domains, industries, technologies, and internal and external partners. Bachelor's degree in related field; or equivalent experience. Minimum 8 years' UX/UI experience in-house, with a consulting firm or agency or similar.
Experience in working with data driven applications, visualization and machine learning
Experience working in healthcare, medical or similar fields preferred
Proficiency in Design Research, pulling from, but not limited to: Design Thinking, Human-Centered, service design methodologies and other user-centric problem-solving methodologies
Expert proficiency in Adobe Create Suite including: Adobe XD, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and After Effects
Expert proficiency in digital prototyping tools including: Sketch, InVision, Framer, Origami, Axure
Experience working in creative cultures in either consulting or large corporate environments.
Ability to communicate about design in a clear and effective manner.
Portfolio demonstrating process, outcomes and quality in areas of User Interaction and Research required
