As a Advisor for Data Engineering and Strategy specifically, in this role you will collaborate with PBM Product Advisors and Business partners and IT team, using the latest in data technology, you will be charged with: â¢ Making analytics faster, more insightful, and more efficient â¢ Building and maintaining a next-generation Analytics Data Layer for PBM Products â¢ Designing highly scalable and extensible data platform including but not limited to RDBMS / Big Data / Cloud which enables industrializing collection, storage, modeling, and analysis of massive data sets from heterogeneous channels â¢ Bringing a DevOps mindset to enable data and batch/real-time analytical solutions that leverage emerging technologies â¢ Developing prototypes and proof of concepts for the selected solutions, and implement complex data engineering projects â¢ Applying an analytic mindset to a focus on collecting, parsing, managing, and automating data feedback loops in support of business innovation â¢ Managing and addressing operational data issues by establishing workarounds and/or bringing in cross functional teams to solve the issues in timely manner
Required Qualifications Bachelorâ™s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Physics, Math, or related field with 5+ years of professional or business analytics experience; or Masterâ™s Degree â¢ 2+ years of experience in Data architecture and data modeling, including creating Semantic Layer Data Models â¢ 2+ years of experience in Developing Metrics and KPI data layers for broader business and analytic consumption â¢ 2+ years of experience in âœBig dataâ platforms including Hadoop (preferably Azure or GCP) and technologies including Spark, Airflow, Kafka, Hbase, Pig, NoSQL, etc. â¢ 2+ years of experience in Traditional relational data warehouse technologies, such as Oracle, Teradata, or DB2 â¢ 2+ years of one of the following languages: PySpark, Scala, or Java â¢ 2+ years in SQL, including Analytical SQL functions

Preferred Qualifications â¢ Translating analytical problems into structured programs, including PySpark or Scala â¢ Designing data models and solutions for analytical and reporting use cases â¢ Previous healthcare experience and domain knowledge
Education Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Physics, Math or related fields.
