Be proctor certified according to the SH training process
Implement field based physician and staff training programs.
Demonstrate procedural steps for all involved physicians and staff at sites
Provide technical support to clinicians during the procedures
Assist cath lab personnel with set-up and break-down for procedures and with product handling/inventory management
Collaborate with center to provide good clinical outcomes for the patients through patient selection, training and procedural proctoring
Facilitate communication among the diverse constituents (Interventionalists, Echocardiologists, sonographers, cardiac anesthesiologists, CV surgeons, cath lab management, etc.) that need to work together effectively to generate patients for treatment, procedure scheduling, and successful clinical outcomes
Manage logistics between the site and SH related to procedural support.
Leverage clinical evidence to promote therapy and product in competitive setting
Keep medical team informed about patient selection criteria based on the latest clinical evidence
Share own experience with Doctors to help them to refine their patient selection
Your Competencies & Skills:
Technical product and procedure knowledge: training clinicians and providing technical assistance during procedures, including trouble-shooting
Strong clinical knowledge: ability to interpret clinical study data
Leadership skills: able to influence a variety of clinician personality types
Communication and interpersonal skills: able to deliver clinical, procedural, technical information in a precise and concise way, able to build relationships
Analytical skills: able to identify and resolve issues and to adapt best practices across institutions
Ability to work in a team environment that rewards contribution
Willingness to travel extensively (>50% of the time)
Ability to work in a cath lab (in lead) at least several days per week
Your Education & Background:
Proven track record in the clinical introduction of sophisticated therapeutic, procedure-enabling devices that requires significant clinician training;
experience with products for use in interventional cardiology and cardiac surgery;
experience in sales of new concepts;
familiarity of echocardiography or other indirect imaging is strongly preferred.
BS/BA in life sciences / healthcare / engineering
Medical training (RN, EMT, Perfusion, etc.) background strongly preferred
Medical Clinical Support and Sales Experience strongly preferred
French & English fluency, German preferred
Computer skills (Word / Excel / PPT)
