What you’ll be doing...
Verizon’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) organization has recently expanded its use of complex online platforms across its portfolio in support of the Corporate Social Responsibility Verizon strategy (https://www.verizon.com/about/responsibility), including within its education, small business, and volunteering teams. We aim to ensure a consistently excellent user experience for all the constituencies who engage with these platforms, including both internal and external users, as well as efficient data collection and issue mitigation to ensure usability and progress toward key goals.
To support these key platforms, we are seeking a Senior Consultant to join our team.
Serve as the primary point of contact to manage all elements of the end-to-end CSR project plan (including budget and timeline), as well as platform execution and enhancement.
Establish strong, cross-functional partnerships and serve as coordinator and translator between CSR and technical teams.
Create systems and processes to monitor and triage platform issues as they arise; uncover root causes; obtain user feedback/support; identify platform enhancements; and communicate the challenges, remediation, and after action in a clear and effective manner.
Streamline and simplify processes across applications within CSR. This would include but is not limited to managing contracts and processes associated with Global Clearance, Privacy, Ethics, and Compliance.
Manage third party vendors providing tier 1 support and reporting capabilities.

You’ll need to have:
This hybrid role will have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days as set by the manager.
Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
Four or more years of relevant work experience.
Willingness to travel between Basking Ridge and New York City locations, as needed.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems.
Experience managing the implementation of large scale, technology based projects.
Experience working in an IT capacity within a large, global corporation.
Knowledge of program and project management planning, tracking, analysis and reporting tools, and ability to manage multiple projects or programs concurrently.
Strong communication skills, written and verbal, across all levels of internal stakeholders.
Ability to conduct readiness assessments, evaluate results, and develop plans to ensure business is prepared for upcoming technology changes.
Ability to identify potential people-side risks, points of resistance, performance gaps, and develop specific corrective action plans to mitigate the risks.
Ability to liaise on robust communications plans for new releases.
Experience using various platform software, including Adobe LMS platform.
Experience using project management systems, including Agile Software and Scrum Management.
Agile and PMP Certification.
