The M&A Finance team supports the Deloitte US Firms across a range of projects related to Deloitte's internal mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures and Member Firm combinations. The team leads financial diligence, integration and development of carve-out Financial, doing work equivalent of client service MATS and Consulting teams, with our clients being Deloitte PPMDs.
Work you will do:
Lead Finance diligence efforts, in collaboration with Corporate Development and Business sponsors, which include comprehensive financial and operational analysis, quality of earnings, and identification of potential integration considerations
Lead Finance integration and divestiture planning and execution
Lead and collaborate with various stakeholders to develop recommendations and resolve issues
Support international ventures with Deloitte global firms in diligence, integration and post-deal support including investment tracking, reporting, forecasting, planning and resolving issues
Lead and coordinate various special projects that may be identified
Coach and mentor junior team members
Bachelor's degree, with preference for a Finance-related discipline (e.g., Accounting, Finance).
5+ years of prior relevant experience in client-facing or internal consulting roles.
Understanding of accounting and financial statements.
Excellent project management skills and attention to detail. The applicant must be resourceful, organized and able to handle multiple projects and deliverables simultaneously.
Ability to team well with others in a virtual environment across geographic boundaries.
Excellent proficiency in MS PowerPoint, Excel.
Occasional travel (less than 10-15%) may be required in the future (post-COVID)
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
MBA and/or CPA
Previous work experience in Consulting or Advisory is preferred
