What you’ll be doing...
As the leader in the Verizon Business Group (VBG) organization in Verizon India, you will be responsible for building a highly motivated and talented team, coaching and mentoring them to deliver high-quality products and services. You will partner with global Directors & business teams to establish goals, influence and effectively communicate/execute the vision set by GTS leadership. In addition, this role provides leadership that promotes teamwork, employee respect, empowerment, and open communication. Sets strategic direction and governs delivery for VBG, develops and maintains SLA's alongside internal business partners that meet or exceed customer expectations. Develop and adhere to budget while meeting or exceeding expectations and goals/metrics.
Leading the VBG Sales Organization as Program Manager working across multiple Vendors and build strong Vendor Governance.
Leading the B360 Quoting and Ordering space and work with the Vendors( HCL, TCS and ACS) and building a strong partnership model.
Managing the AD activities Vendors (HCL, TCS and ACS) from Project Initiation till Deliverables, tracking towards the Quality metrics and Value addition on each release.
Managing the AM activities with Vendors (HCL, TCS and ACS) towards Production Support activities, Customer escalation, AYS tickets, drive towards Root Cause analysis and permanent Fix. Ensure to hold Vendors (HCL, TCS and ACS) responsible for all production tickets.
Managing and facilitating hiring multi-skilled contractors and employees in India.
Evaluating various vendor job profiles and facilitate interview with right Verizon interview panel, track and negotiate the vendor onboarding dates.
Actively engaging in bringing standards across vendors in terms of Quality of resource, onboarding practices.
Driving stakeholders, leverage industry standard processes and tools, good hold on Budget handling and Executive report with Deliverables associated to KPIs.
Leading in creating Type1/Type2 SOW documents and working with development managers, sourcing and PMO towards fine tuning and bring it to closure.
What we’re looking for...
You'll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
Six or more years of relevant work experience.
Six or more years of technology leadership, including a solid understanding of technology selection, architecture, and full stack implementation.
Strong vendor management skills and good exposure to Agile Methodology.
Experience in partnering with Business and IT teams at multiple levels to drive alignment and delivery of complex problems.
Even better if you have:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science /Information Technology, or a related field or four or more years of work experience.
A project management professional certification.
Strong knowledge towards handling Budget (Capex and Opex).
Good presentation skills to communicate complex concepts effectively.
Experience in handling large project and managing multiple stakeholders.
Experience to Software Engineering and Development experience, including leading IT teams through Business Analysis, Project Management.
Experience in facilitating troubleshooting & supporting mission-critical 24X7 production systems, lead real-time high stake risk mitigation plan and drive timely decisions.
Experience on Scrum Master role for enterprise applications.
Experience leading senior talent, mentoring and coaching large teams.
