Talent Services PMO Lead Specialist, Learning & Development
The Learning Delivery team partners and collaborates with many parts of the talent organization to enable the delivery and project management of learning programs and portfolios.
Work you'll do
As a member of the Talent Services Development Delivery team, you will act as a learning delivery PMO lead specialist responsible for the coordination, implementation and completion of projects to achieve business goals. Support and execute an optimal project management strategy and project plans by liaising with Talent Services PMO and Delivery Managers, Learning & Development program managers, and others within the Talent organization. Ensure effective project management strategies and processes are implemented and oversee resources as appropriate. Build, manage, and leverage relationships with Learning & Development and across US and USI Talent Services.
Partner with Learning & Development program managers, Talent Services PMO Managers and Talent Services Leaders to establish project plans, related resources, and approach for national learning projects.
Serve as a credible and trusted advisor on effective and leading-edge project management strategies to achieve business goals.
Oversee day-to-day project execution leading to timely delivery, quality and compliance with the project's scope. Execute the full project lifecycle with strong project management skills. This includes reviewing and monitoring work-plans, managing against milestones, knowing what to prioritize and why with minimal supervision, knowing who to keep informed, why, and how often, along with defining scope, goals and deliverables.
Draft key messages and communicate around project updates to leader(s) such as PMO manager or Learning & Development manager and manage escalations/exceptions, as needed.
Support initiatives to develop and improve project management processes, tools and technology in support of learning.
Serve as a liaison with USI and with the Learning & Development to support the overall project strategy.

Talent Services focuses on delivery of both strategic and transactional services, either directly for the businesses or in support of the Business Advisors and Learning & Development (formerly called Centers of Excellence or CoE).
Bachelor's Degree; Minimum 6 years of related experience
Strong project management experience with successfully planning and delivering multiple, concurrent, and various work streams in a matrixed organization with aggressive timelines
Effective interpersonal and communication skills that build relationships across the organization with experience influencing, collaborating and helping to gain consensus
Consultative approach toward clients with demonstrated capability to manage client expectations
Effective analytical skills and ability to identify and present data-driven insights and trends. Ability to research, analyze, design, develop, or customize based upon varying inputs.
Strong Microsoft Office skills. Specifically Excel (aggregating data, creating pivots and vlookups) and PowerPoint
Ability to demonstrate strategic-thinking skills with an ability to collaborate with team members on best practices
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-tasking virtual environment
