The Medical Director, ASCVD-Lp(a) will also drive strong collaboration and co-leadership of the products with Global, US Medical, US Marketing, and US Sales colleagues.
Specific responsibilities will include development of the US data generation plan, development and execution of US implementation science protocols and clinical trials (including research collaborations) in ASCVD-Lp(a) disease area and Pelacarsen, leadership of advisory boards, study related steering committees, and investigators meetings. Medical communications strategy/implementation using implementation science methods, conducting field force training, active participation in promotional material development and review, and various internal and external presentations.
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
*Co-develop with global a robust data generation plan. Co-lead strategically aligned study programs with Heath Economics & Outcomes Research (HE∨) colleagues. *Engage in the effective use of implementation science to promote the adoption and integration of evidence-based practices. *Create phase 3b plan for Pelacarsen and execute clinical trials to further the understanding on Lp(a) and Pelacarsen. *Actively explore, plan, and implement innovative communications solutions - including through digital channels - to address strategic and scientific gaps. *Foster strong relationships with not only National, but also key Regional and Local Medical Experts, including Investigators. Support Medical Expert Engagement Strategy. *Drive advisory boards, steering committees, and investigators meetings. *Work closely with Field Medical on insight-gathering initiatives and identifying gaps, threats, etc. *Demonstrate solid competencies as a Medical Leader within the US Clinical Development & Medical Affairs organization. Build positive, effective partnerships with Medical and Commercial as well as US and Global colleagues. *Partner with the Integrated Product Team (IPT), which drives product strategy. *Key member of the cross-functional Medical Tactical Team (MTT), which drives Medical tactical development and excellence in execution. *Work effectively with secondary data analytics team. *Provide support of Investigator-Initiated Trial (IIT) program. *Develop positive and effective relationships with Global colleagues. *Collaborate with Marketing and Sales colleagues in promotional material development and review, field force training, etc. *Co-develop a strong medical engagement plan with team, incorporating diverse Medical functions and capabilities.
